Here's yet another view of the Canary Wharf development - this time taken from South Quay (next to the floating Chinese restuarant for those in the know)...
The two large towers to the left are the pan peninsula apartments - I believe Europe's tallest residential block. One bed flats start at £400,000... in-house cinema, gym, restuarant etc... I'll take 2 please...
The red sky is caused by me messing about with the in-camera settings. This was taken using the 'candle mode'...
Spent the day on a disciplinary training course... Sounds boring but was actually quite a laugh (yep... we took it seriously...don't think the trainer was too impressed...).
Best news of the day tho was finding out we get an extra Bank Hol next year thanks to the royal wedding... suddenly I'm a fan :-)
Very nice city shot...even WITH the nuclear red glow in the sky. *teehee* Congrats on the extra holiday. Geesh! Wondering why we didn't get the day off when Chelsea Clinton got married?
Your night shots are so good. I am very jealous. I am going to work on some this holiday weekend. Love the clarity and detail of your shots. I love how quickly your tune changes about the Royals when there is some benefit for you! That made me laugh. Enoy the 29th of April off!
@seattle Thanks Constance.. Ha Ha yep... Us Brits will do anything for a day off :-)... As for night shots, getting lots of practice because of the dark evenings, although am getting a little bored snappping the wharf every other night :-). Best of luck this weekend...
