So here it is my 365 friends... this is where, in a little over 2 months I'll be tying the knot with the gorgeous Sangeeta... God, 2 months...! Gonna go soooo fast..
The venue had a food tasting event this evening, so it was a chance to have a look around, decide upon the menu and work out who will have what room.
It is a wonderful place, a stunning Georgian manor house, built around a inner courtyard, great bedrooms, one of those dark wood libraries with old style leather chairs and plenty of history behind it...
We haggled a great deal, including the wedding, reception, rooms, disco, food, drinks etc... Which getting it all sorted under one roof certainly makes the whole wedding experience at lot less stressful than it might have been...
@phil_howcroft hahaha that was me and my mate's big worry as the fixtures hadn't been announced when we booked... we picked a weekday so I was fairly sure we'd both be able to make it :-)
Ooooh how exciting!! (said in a girlie sort of way!) This is a great idea to represent the venue. I can hear you saying 'just walk towards me Sangeeta, smile and flick your hair!!' It all sounds great, I wonder if the library is like in 4 weddings where Julia Roberts hides behind the armchair! lol @phil_howcroft and you are bad boys about the football!! 2 months wowow its going to go sooooo fast!!

Can't really remember the 4 Wedding one, but this is like an old gentleman's smoking room... But you're right.. time is FLYING...!!!
@Cherrill funny you ask me that - Aaron L said a while back it would be good to capture the countdown clock at 365 and I'll be in Fleet Street at 4pm so I might just take a walk down there...
@andycoleborn if you take a look on the BBC web site there's a bit about what's on....dancing, bands, even Scouting for Girls, but they get everywhere! lol
posh do then Andy ..(o; looks terrific but i bet you wont remember a thing about the night it will go so fast, so enjoy the build up.... (ps we ..(365) should all fit in that place nicely too ..lol) nice shot
Wow...what a gorgeous setting this will be! Will you be frustrated not to be in charge of (most of) the photography? That's going to be an event and setting ready-made for wonderful pictures! Can't wait to see them!
