A few weeks back whilst meeting up with fellow 365er Aaron L, Aaron mentioned it would be good to get a snap of the Olympic countdown clock on 365 days, sort of fitting for this project.
Also, this just so happens to be my 1000th upload so a fitting pic for a milestone.. Although, the real important number is 641, my original daily project..
So when Cherrill mentioned it to me in a comment earlier today, I just had to go up to Trafalgar Square to get a snap (I was in fact in a meeting in Fleet Street so it was only a short walk down to catch all the shenanigans..)..
The square was packed, call-me Dave (David Cameron), Boris, Seb Coe, Princess Anne some IOC bods and plenty of Olympians all having their say..
Thanks to being tall, I could see above most people and get a decent shot as the clock flicked from 366 days 0 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds to 365 days 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds...
@azza_l cheers mate - made sure I didn't miss so took about 10 shots covering a couple of seconds before and after.. Yeah, during the election he tried to reach out as a normal dude as in "I may have gone to Eton, Cambridge, be a bit posh, but you can call me Dave"...

Wow the square really is packed. Thanks for the photo as I have been wondering what it looks like. Also how cool that you were there to see the change to 365. Serendipitous for sure
