Father Christmas proved he can work more than one day a year with a special guest appearance at a children's Christmas Party work held for local kids this evening.
All good fun... Or so you would think... For the second year running, it kicked off... During the under 6's pass-the-parcel game, a parent who was helping their daughter move the parcel around dragged the present towards her daughter and held on until the music stopped when the game was on the final round... This led to a face-to-face shouting match with another mum.. In the end, the lady and her 2 kids plus another woman and her 3 kids left before Santa's arrival..
What a great example for their kids eh!
Last year there was trouble as well when one boy, about 8 years old, was given a book as a present resulting in his mum coming up to us at the end of the evening complaing " A book!!! What the f__k is he gonna do with a book"... Honestly, you couldn't make it up lol....
Too bad about the parents not understanding the spirit of the holiday. However, you got one fantastic shot of the event. Father Christmas sure has a cutie next to him! These stories should be on some comedy show, like Saturday Night Live here in the states....

Oh my goodness...... what to do with a book? How about read it? This poor child. I feel the urge to adopt him. Some days I think parents should have to pass a test before giving birth. :)
