Work continues to progress on one of London's latest 'to be' iconic tower blocks - the walkie-talkie - or to give it it's official name 20 Fenchurch Street.!
Got in work a bit late this morning only to completely forget my password (which I reset on Friday) so had to wait a while for IT to reset it..
Foodbanks - a modern day soup kitchen - have been popping up across the UK recently as the cuts start to hit home so at work I set up a food collection programme - am hopeful everyone will donate a can of soup, tin of beans or such like so we can drop them off at the local Foodback before Chritsmas.. So far just one tin of mushroom soup has been handed in!
Nice night time skyline. The water reflections are always a nice feature.
Another totally different shot I might also have tried if I were there is to zoom in on the building in question, perhaps even on the patterns of the objects (construction cranes?) on the top, and the nice contrasts of the immediate dark "floors" below it, and find something interesting and unique there.
@frankhymus If I had a tripod I probably would have taken a bunch of different pics, but as all I could use was the flat surface of a wall along the river for this long exposure pic, it was a case of snap and job done for the day... Far too cold to hang about taking pics tonight...
@mastermek Haha - If you could put it in a tin and send it over I'm sure it'll go down nicely... Never had pea soup so might search for a recipe and give it a try..
