Grilled gurnard and mackerel with a spicy calamari sauce served with a chick pea and tomato side salad...
Sainsbury's were selling the very ugly looking gurnard for 75p per fish so, never having tried it before, we bought a couple of them to see how they tasted..
We bought some makerel too just in case the gurnard wasn't very nice..
I cooked them with garlic and chilli and made a chili/calamari sauce to drizzy over both fish...
Very, very nice indeed and I'd recommend gurnard any day of the week...
