Met up with one of our bridesmaid's, Sonia, for the first time in ages this afternoon and headed over to Westfield to watch Bollywood superstar, Shahrukh Khan's latest hit, Channai Express.
Neither of us really wanted to see it as it's a typical OTT comic caper and our fears were well founded as it was a 2 hour romp full of silly fight sequences, songs, unrealistic action and over dramatic one liners... Still, most of the audience in the cinema seemed to enjoy it laughing away at every opportunity...
After the film we headed to our favourite South Indian restaurant where I had idly samber and a chilli and onion uttapam and Sangeeta had poori masala.. Delish...
