This week's purchase by the 17 year old, suggested by visits to future flight schools, has been a professional yoke and rudder pedals to make flight simulation even more...s(t)imulating!
The suit is sixth form school uniform but my young man does rather look the part. Watch out for him flying you to your holidays in a few years!
@jo13 James was allowed in a professional flight simulator when we visited flight training in Southampton at the end of last year. He did remarkably well in it and said afterwards it was just like his pc programme!
@jimmyveee Actually when you look, you can see the plane at a rather odd angle on the artificial horizon but I was just intent on getting the shot, not looking for whether he was flying straight!
How awesome for him! That was my husband's dream too (though he ended up not pursuing it). He still loves Flight Simulator though! How fun for your son!
