Under the wing

We did a technical tour of Concorde in its permanent display hanger in Manchester. It was a wonderful experience as a whole but the moment of the day for me was standing under the sweep of those iconic wings watching James and Neil enter the plane for the first time.

Beautiful shot. I can relate to the 'moment of the day'. I stood under the wing of a vulcan bomber at an airshow at Waddington many years ago holding my then 2 year old daughter and she said "Where has the plane gone". She was amazed when I said we were underneath it.
