Scadoxus multiflorus - African blood lily

The blood lily (Scadoxus multiflorus) is a rhizomatous, evergreen perennial that is native to Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. The most distinguishing feature of this plant is its flower-head.

Have been waiting for this beauty to flower and I am not disappointed.
Am still limping along - I am hoping tomorrow I will be full of energy and enthusiasm hahahahahaha
but seriously - it was in the high 30's - my car said 41 at one point - energy pphhhttt!
