A friend of ours is an ex rescue helicopter pilot and he has picked quite a few dead rock fishermen out of the sea.
@onewing it was really windy that day Babs...this guy was in a fairly sheltered spot but the other side were two...I'll call them idiots...right out on a precarious rock point...I think they made it back up but would have been pissed off if rescuers had needed to risk their lives to save them
@annied I couldn't agree more Annie. I'm a firm believer in taking responsibility for your own actions. If you're stupid enough to go rock-fishing, and without even a life-jacket then take the consequences, don't expect others to save your sorry self.
