I found the piece of my old car in the drawer where I expected it to be. A few years ago I found it on the ground after I'd been in a collision. It was on display for quite a while as a small found sculpture. The little houses I knew about, but when I got them out of the packaging, I found they were not turquoise as I had "remembered" but a lichen-y green.
