A break to rest after 5 km paddling

The fallen tree that can be seen in the background is one of many that cannot resist the rise in the water level in the dam. The months with very little rainfall are getting longer and it is necessary to increase the water reserves in the dams.
Interesting photo and commentary about the dams. I was interested and asked Professor Google about rainfall, dams etc but couldn't find a great deal.

This is a lovely place paddling in peace.

Thanks for that as it is interesting but I was looking for your dams in Portugal. All I could find was that some hydro power supplies are threatened by lack of water.

The madness of the weather is only a simple answer to the imprudent actions of man. Great shot.

Thankyou for taking the trouble. I have an insatiable curiosity about the world and I am interested in dams, water and water infrastructure so I appreciate your links.
