To focus or not to focus ... on an old beech tree

Today I were a bit struck by photographers block, so I ended up playing around with focus. I took a lot of pictures... but ended up choosing this... The photo is almost SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera), only adjusted the blacks and cropped it a tiny bit. There's some serious chromatic aberration going on, but I actually like the purple and teal colours together with the pale blue sky.

In our garden we have this huge and very old beech tree standing by one of the gables... The tree is quite a bit higher than our two story house and the gardener has recommended that it should be cut down because of it's size and the shadows it casts on the house... but that's not going to happend... we both love this old tree - it's our old Ent garding the house...

Gear used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 + Lensbaby Composer Pro + Lensbaby Double Glass Optic + Lensbaby 0.42x Super Wide Lens.
Love the colours.
