… how I feel about today's shot… it's not a favorite of mine, but I decided to use it here anyway - because it reminds me of Christmas lights :-).
Again today I wanted to play around a bit more with my Lensbaby Velvet 56 at the widest apperture... since it's been raining rather heavily today everything outside is wet wet wet (oh... this reminds me of a favorite song from when I was younger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wgid1me8POs :-)).
There's raindrops hanging from every leaf and twig, and I captured these hazy drops hanging from our Cotinus Coggygria "Royal Purple" (in Danish it's called "Parykbusk" - and I haven't been able to find the English name for this beautiful bush/tree), and when shooting at the widest aperture the lens creates a beautiful and very hazy bokeh around every drop - reminds me of a lit Christmas tree :-).
