A late night walk...

A late night walk through the city after all the Christmas shoppers have gone home to rest their weary feet…

This is one of the oldest streets in Aalborg city - it was founded around year 1500 and was later named "Cortesgyde" after Cort Andersen who was the bailiff in Aalborg. Cort Andersen was born around 1560 and died in September 1633.

I love the narrow cobblestone street, the lighting and the history behind it. Looks like a great place for a winter stroll at night.
