Origami

Tomorrow my goddaughter is celebrating her confirmation and I'm happy that we get to share this event with her and her lovely family... so today I have been making a hand made card for her to hold her gift. She's saving up a bit of money for something special, so instead of buying her a gift, we decided to give her money. To spice up the gift I decided to turn the banknotes into origami, so we are giving her these two origami banknote butterflies along with an origami banknote heart.

I'm born in Japan but I have lived all my life in Denmark, and my interest in Japanese culture have been a life long companion, so choosing origami felt just right ... one day I'm going to make a thousand origami cranes... :-).
