@emmadurnford Yes I saw that I thought you must have done that! Perhaps its because the olympus includes that info with the image but the Cyber-shot doesn't?
@barrowlane Really not sure what is going on, only thing I can think of is to ensure that when you prepare an image prior to uploading, you ensure it includes all metadata. I use Aperture for the Apple Mac and I have an option to include metadata when I export images in different formats.
It could be because I re-size the image. Re the snow brightening I don't have any clever editing software apart from an old copy of paint shop pro, I have played around with and it does look much better. I sort of want to upload the images as they come out of the camera though, apart from resizing to reduce upload time, which I know could have a slight effect on quality.
Perhaps it would be interesting to have other people re process an original image to see different effects that could be achieved similar to Djs remixing music tracks?
