Went for another local walk today due to the fact that I have a bad attack of sciatica and the only thing that doesn't seem to hurt is walking. A footpath lead across a field with these young heifers who we inquisitive and came running towards me. Care should be taken when walking in fields with cattle especially if it is cows with calves! These were OK just enthusiastic youngster who kept there distance. A bit more of a colourful bunch than yesterday too.
A lovely group of heifers Rob...aren't they inquisitive...they look grand in the sun.
I have had sciatica for the last two months & it's just beginning to improve now & I agree about the walking....mine is worse at night when I'm sitting & lying.
@happypat Yep and driving is a nightmare. I have a 45 minute drive to work and in the morning I have to stop several times and walk around to get some relief. It gives me a chance to take some photos though. Coming home doesn't seem as bad. Sitting and in bed at night is painful too. They say that staying cheerful helps reduce the pain, easier said than done especially as I am a naturally grumpy person.
Good capture of the moment. The youngsters will investigate anything - especially if they think it might lead to food! Nothing chaqnges much in the animal/human world.Sorry to hear about the sciatica and hope you feel much better very soon.
Rob, you are brave I would have turned tail and fled....cows make me very nervous........great formation shot, they look like they are forming and arrow head towards you.
How brave of you. I'd wouldn't dare with no fence between us, but that might be due to the fact that we have very little fieldswith cattle on them, so its a lack of practise on my behalf. Great shot and title. Sorry to hear about your sciatica, hope it gets better soon. But I don't believe that your a grumpy person at all Rob, because grumpy people seem to take grumpy shots and yours are full of life and colour

I love watching cows and heifers kicking up their heels and running. Puts a smile on my face every time.
