Apples - 24-9

?We have an apple tree in our garden, a James Greaves, I bought it 22 years ago for our wedding anniversary. When we moved from that house nearly 18 years ago I dug it up and replanted it in our new house. Unfortunately in a stupid place close to a weeping willow tree. It is shrouded under its canopy so doesn't do very well. But this year it seems to be rallying and has a few apples look like the could be getting near to the picking stage..
They look nice eaters Rob...bit like Golden Delicious. Harry has brought one of our eating apples in tonight to try if they are ready for picking..just forgotten what type they are...will just go & check, be back in a minute....Ellison's Orange & we have another tree called Falstaff but that has only a few apples on which are a bit scabby. Yours look very healthy!
