honor

my husband and i had the privilege of attending our dear friend rick's navy retirement ceremony. rick served our country for 30 years, is a highly decorated and respected leader, and a godly man of honor and integrity. while the ceremony was intended to honor rick for all his amazing accomplishments (and it did!), rick used the opportunity to honor God. he acknowledged the Lord both in the words he spoke and in an awesome time of worship. we were so blessed, and are honored to call him brother and friend.

We had the same privilege a couple of weeks ago. Impressive ceremony, wasn't it?! Congrats to Rick! I have such respect for our military :)
