little guy has a 'christmas around the world' project to present on monday, and his country is australia. he discovered that besides the fact that many australians spend the holiday at the beach (because it's summer there), the kids enjoy the tradition of christmas crackers. when you pull each end of the cracker, it opens with a 'pop' and has a little trinket, a joke, and a paper crown inside. we found some (no small feat!) and he can't wait to share them with his classmates!
