my sweet little cardinal fledglings are getting the hang of it!! they are flying a little higher, a little longer, and a little further each time. while i have had absolutely nothing to do with it, it still makes me proud. if my heart wrenches and i get tears in my eyes as these little babies leave their nests to fly off into the big ol' world, how in the heck am i going to handle it when my own sweet babies do so?!! it's not going to be pretty, people.

It's been fun watching them grow through your lens - both the fledglings and your boys. don't even want to think about my babies leaving the nest.
