well, i was experimenting with my 50mm lens. i like how charley is focused only on his face, and the rest is soft. however, here's a free tip: it is pretty exasperating trying to get a 6 month old pup to be still for photos, even if you explain to him that you are trying to practice.
That's *SO* cute that I made it a favorite! I know the exaperation thing...I follow a favorite cat with my camera and he's never as impressed with me as I am with him! I think you did sensationally well here!
