well, i've been scouring the local antiques stores for many moons for a new headboard for my bed, and finally found one i love!
so, it's not a particularly creative shot, but it is documenting a day (or night!) from my year. and it makes me happy! (:
i also like the 'orton-ish' effect, it looks dreamy!!
I love this. Beautiful headboard. I like all of your special touches like the lamp and the books it sits upon, with the dried flowers behind the frame and the muted neutrals of the bedding. I love decorating, so this is a very fun and exciting shot for me. Nice job.
really pretty headboard! I am sometimes torn too about posting something creative vs. "this was my day". Documenting my year was the reason I started this, but it's also really challenging me to step up my photography and learn some new things. So, it's all good!
did you get this headboard??? I LOVE it!!! I love how your home has so many unique things in it. I'm a lot like you in that I search and search for things that make me happy. I've been looking for a new couch for two years.... still looking!
