fall. fall break. a favorite looooong weekend in my favorite season. i spent this day with one of my very favorite people at one of my favorite places in all of oklahoma city. i spent many an hour at the zoo with my boys when they were younger, but we hadn't been in quite some time. my 'date' and i walked every last inch of that place (we spent the whole day!), just talking together and taking lots and lots of pictures--which are two of our favorite things to do. of course, he couldn't wait to see his favorite animal: the alligator (okay, we all know that his TRUE favorite animal is the crocodile. but we only have alligators at our zoo. and believe me, he knows the difference. but alligators are a close relative, and therefore a close second-favorite. so the use of the word 'favorite' is wholly appropriate here. with his approval. of course.) SO, this collage represents my favorite moment--my boy with his favorite.
He looks like he is totally engrossed in whatever he is watching, and I assume it is his favorite? Great photo collage, and you know what Brett, Brock is going to grow up truly appreciating these special times together. I think it's great.
It is great to have a day with them, specially at a slow paced place like the zoo! Sounds like you had a great time and great picture of the alligators, I especially like the bottom right one!
How cool that you two were able to have this outing together!! There's a place in Myrtle Beach, SC that he would love--you can watch them feed the alligators. That's all they have there--it's huge.
