the youngest has been sick and stayed home from school today. he's spent a lot of time cuddled up on the couch in my room--i hate when he feels bad, but love the extra time with him. and i hope he's never too old to snuggle his blue blankey.
They do grow up, and as a Parent, you really feel bad when they are sick. I used to love how the kids would scamper for onmy lap when I would come home and sit down. Can't imagine that now, my son is 6'2" I am a shorty at 5'6"
At least he is sleeping--this photo is an older one, so I know he's better already
