today we had our annual gingerbread neighborhood party--every year i set up a big table at our house loaded with every candy imaginable for my boys and two families on our street to create gingerbread houses. it's messy, loud, sweet, and SO MUCH FUN!
OOOOOHHHHHHH!!! This would make a great Christmas card! It's just awesome, so festive and the bokeh of the tree-LOVE! They did a great job on the gingerbread houses!
What a fun tradition! I love gingerbread. My daughter's house has been sitting on our table just taunting us to eat it, but I want to wait until after Christmas. Love the shot!
lol. We got a village this year, but Ive been slack and we havent put it together yet. Maybe over the weekend.. if I get the groceries done. the washing done. the kitchen clean, and the living room livable. great shot of your house....
These are beautiful!! We do ours on Christmas Eve but I have yet to find a gingerbread recipe that actually tastes good AND stands up without falling apart! Sometimes it looks like we had gingerbread earthquakes.
@clarissajohal once again, i'm getting more credit than i deserve!! (: clarissa, i buy these houses already made and assembled! it is super-easy--i buy icing in a can, spread out bowls and bowls of candy, and they go at it!! however, i can assure you they do not taste NEARLY as good as i'm sure your homemade ones do!!
Brett...this is so pretty...and yummy, of course!! Love the sparkle of the lights in the background...just adds a lil something special to the shot! :)
What a wonderful holiday picture that has the joy of the season and family fun together written all over it! I'['ve been absent from 365 as it's hard to get much internet time, but wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed getting to know you this year and I wanted to wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas! L&L!
