Blue

This is one of our freshly painted porch chairs. In spite of our best sanding efforts we couldn’t get the surface completely smooth. I suppose that adds to its charm. We have four vintage chairs painted in different shades of blue. This one plus it’s partner were on my parents porch while I was growing up, so you know these have got to be pretty old!

@narayani there’s a rust spot on one the legs that’s opened into a small hole, but I think there’s a lot of good years left.

From the one I saw hanging up in the tree, these look like very comfortable old chairs, well maintained.
