We’ve been furniture shopping, trying to replace a few worn out pieces. At this store we were buying a recliner. We spent an agonizing amount of time debating between two fabrics. One would take two months to get in, the other would take 8 months and would be more expensive. We decided that two month choice would be less painful all the way around.
8 months seems a very long lead time to wait for a piece of furniture. Even 2 months seems a long time. Is this normal or is it only like this since covid? My brother and sister in law who just moved to Tennessee have had to wait almost a year after they paid for new gutters for their house. I found that astonishing.
