I found a beautiful butterfly today and chased it all around the garden. It was red, yellow and white. I captured it but not as sharply as I would like. Whereas my little MMM was happy to pose for me. The MMM refers to the markings on the wings and it's my name for this butterfly which is actually a Common Crow. I'm slowly learning the names of the butterflies around here thanks to other 365ers helping me out.
Thanks for looking and commenting, it's much appreciated :-*
Sensational Sheralee! So envious of the butterflies up there - we seem to get some pretty (ish) ones down here, but never when I have my camera with me. This is seriously beautiful. Well done.
@difeeney@cocorose Thank you both so much for always looking at my photos. I really hope I'm successful with that other one before it leaves my garden.
@murnane Thanks so much Marg! And thank you for always checking my photos too. You know, I actually thought there wasn't many pretty ones in my garden until I started taking notice. I've managed to find a few different ones now. I can't wait to photograph the Ulysses though, it's magnificent.
@girlie Thanks Robin, you've been so helpful identifying my butterflies. Just wondering if you would mind looking at my Elusive Butterfly from 4 days ago and see if you agree with my naming of her.
