There seems to be so much emotion in his face.

I have to say the quality of the photo is so much better when viewed with the magnifying glass, there is so much detail lost with the thumbnail.

This is an amazing portrait, the light plays an amazing role. I don't think he is old, just that the beard and grayish hair make him look old, but his features look young.
