I was searching for a caterpillar on a bush next to my stairs, I thought she might have made her crysalis. I walked away and when I turned back I noticed that the vine on the tree didn't look quite right. This little tree snake had been sitting watching us. There was a time when I would not have been able to get this close to ANY snake. I was just glad it was not a Brown.

We had excitement today too, firstly I spotted a large redback spider by my herbs and then I was cleaning the leaves out of the pool and was horrified to see a funnel web. This is the first time I have seen a live one and I certainly hope it's the last!
