An amazing place to visit. We set out with intentions of doing a 14 km hike, decided we would do the whole thing which is 20 km return. Bad decision! Three of us got blisters from our wet shoes after crossing the creek thirty times. I have three bruised toes?! We needed the next day to recuperate from the hike but my hips and knees are back to normal now... the joys of old age, lol. It was worth it but I would only recommend 14 km, not 20! If you get the chance, go see Carnarvon Gorge, you will love it.
Beautiful gorgeous scene!! I was fixing to go on a 2.6 mile hike at a local nature reserve as soon as we get some sun and mild weather. After reading your narrative, I'm having 2nd thoughts....LOL!
Gosh. Well done you. I find the more beautiful the surroundings I'm walking in the less I feel the pain...until the next day! This is a stunning shot of such a beautiful place xx
