Flowers in the sky by bella_ss

Flowers in the sky

Each year at the close of the show/fair they let off fireworks. We have a great vantage point on our deck. This was shot by changing the focus at the end of the exposure causing the little flares at the ends of the light trails.
Nicely captured, so festive!

How lovely to have such a great view. And the back ones look great as bokeh. Nice shot.

I really like this with the sharp focus on the centre of the burst and drifting out of focus until the back burst is just bokeh - really effective and very different. FAV

@dibzgreasley You just set up as normal with your focus on the fireworks, then when one has started just turn your focus and it creates the little flare. I probably should have used a shorter exposure so I wouldn't have too many in one shot.
