Brolgas galore

You can see the hundreds of brolgas that were in this paddock. Some were starting to fly off but there is also a flock of quarians going by.

Wonderful find Sheralee and I am so pleased to hear someone else call them Quarians. That is what they were always called once but it seems to have been replaced by Cockatiels these days. I still call them Quarians

@terryliv My husband grew up in Winton and that's what he's always called them. He has lots of different names for birds that other people don't seem to use.
