We found this beautiful spot while walking in Snowdonia in Wales. I rested my camera on a rock for the long exposure.
I'm trying to get back into posting. It's very easy to get out of the habit but I have missed seeing everyone's lovely shots. I've been feeling a bit out of sorts and at a loss... I think I'm missing 365 and all you fabulous people!! The support and comaraderie here is amazing.
This is beautiful, perfect comp and exposure. You have voiced my feelings exactly Sheralee. I've been posting quite a few old images over the past couple of months and fallen a bit behind with commenting but you're right about the camaraderie and lovely supportive people on this sight.
@cirasj the image stabilisation is in my camera Joe not the lens but no I didn't turn it off and I'm often confused about when I should. I would appreciate your thoughts.
@bella_ss If your camera on on a tripod or on a solid object it should be turned off. If it is one, the camera gets confused and tries to steady the shot making it a little shaky. This picture looks a little out of focus due to that fact. I have taken star trail photos and long exposures of streams and waterfalls and have notice with my stabilization is off or on.
Lovely shot and a beautiful part of the world. I've been a bit behind too, posting one handed shots (since fracturing my wrist) and putting in fillers when I couldn't hold a camera. Good to see you back again.
An instant fav. What a gorgeous scene! And the capture is magnificent. What part of Snowdonia is that? I was holidaying in Snowdonia a few years back. Glad to see you back.
@sangwann thanks Dione. We stayed at Llanberis and this was on the walking track up to Snowdon. We didn't walk all the way up though, we had already been up on the train.
Beautiful picturesque scene. That mossy rock in the middle gave me a chuckle though because it made me think of a prehistoric sea monster rearing its head. Haha.
