Lovely capture Sheralee. They are so timid and so had to get a good shot of.
We put food out for the birds and there is a real pecking order as to which species gets to have it. The Pale Headeds are right at the bottom of the order and there is rarely anything left for them. And even if there is something, they take off at the slightest disturbance
@terryliv I think you're right there Poppo although one of these has figured out how to eat from the feeder which is more suited to the small birds. This pair seem a little quieter and don't mind if I don't come too close whereas the lorikeets let me come right up to them.
@hermann I know you get some beautiful birds that we don't so I guess it all evens out in the end :)
@tonygig@sangwann We really are lucky to have these beautiful birds visiting. It is so dry at the moment that a lot of birds are coming just for water.
