It's Ollie's 4th birthday today on Australia Day. His dad became an Australian citizen on this day three years ago. He had his first day of kindergarten yesterday. In Australia, it's kindy, then prep, then year 1.
great capture, boy and cake :) Happy birthday Ollie - he'll always get a holiday for his birthday! As for kinder, pre-school, prep etc, the words are intermingled across the states! Hope Ollie has a happy year at kindergarten :)
@gilbertwood Yes, of course, I didn't think about it being different in the other states... I live in my own little world here :) My American friends have Prep then Kindergarten.
Ok, here I am with regard to the Get Pushed 184. I really like your work and you have a great eye for composition and lighting. So here is something I think you might find interesting/motivating. My challenge for you for the coming week came to me pretty spontaneously, and I hope I can explain what I mean in a reasonable way. For this challenge, I want you to take a picture of something that takes on an unusual color - either because of the light, or a reflection etc... To clarify, like the snow that is naturally white, but can "look" blue, pink, orange etc... depending on the light or something colourful it is reflecting. Does this make sense? Let me know if it is confusing and I can come up with something simpler.
