Water is still 4 metres over the bridge but slowly starting to fall. I heard on the radio today they are calling the Townsville flooding a "once in 500 year event". I guess only time will tell.
Lovely framing and drawing attention to the murky crystal ball. And the amount of detail shown in your portrait works really well for this image. Very well executed.
A little spooky but well done! The illuminated ball is eye-catching. When we first moved to our area there was a huge flood and we were told it was a 100 year event. Two years later it happened again! I don't think they really know when a flood will hit and with all the development there are less and less places for run-off to go. I hope your area recovers from this one without too much trouble.
