This is the Drawing Room of the three storey Georgian House in Edinburgh. It is a gorgeous room but I am haunted by the video which told the story of the history of the house and its occupants. When it was built in 1796, it had no running water or toilet facilities. Desite the elegant dinner parties, I think the odour must have been horrendous. At least by today's standards 😢😢.
