The Lord Napier

This is one of the last handful of original buildings in Hackney Wick, east London. Originally a public house, it has been closed for over 20 years, but I understand that there are plans for it to reopen. Hackney Wick had Europe's largest concentration of artists but over the years the area has been heavily "gentrified" with the building of expensive apartments.

Wow, that's something. Sad to see historic buildings go and the gentrification thing is happening here in Walthamstow too.

What a colorful corner with all of the graffiti...Historical buildings if possible should be saved.
