Today’s walk through the Great Flats revealed many shades of browns and beiges and a smattering of redtwigs. Not too many pops of color, but I am fine with the variety there is.
Three good things:
1. Warm enough to walk outside comfortably but cold enough it isn’t sloppy
2. Being able-bodied enough to manage walking on hard packed snow with no fear
3. It is now lunchtime!
A winter landscape stripped of pretense and still starkly beautiful. I can relate to #3 of your good things...don't get enough practice with #1 and #2. :)
