Everything is a-poppin’. This is a PJM rhododendron in front of my house. This rhododendron's unusual variety name stands for "Peter J. Mezitt", who along with his son, Edmund, started the original hybridization work developing this variety back in the 1930s. The 'P.J.M. ' rhododendron was developed to tolerate northern winters in the Midwest and New England.
Three good things:
1. The joy these blossoms bring on a dreary day
2. Having a dreary day to catch up in the house
3. Watson is enjoying a napping day
