My kids resting their last souvenirs from the Rubin Museum over the “heart” of the museum- the rock is connected to cables that ran throughout the building & brought the vibrations from people walking on staircase into this rock labeled “please touch”

I had to look up The Rubin, how sad it’s closing. That staircase is amazing! Glad your children have some souvenirs.

@illinilass technically they say they will become a “global museum” with traveling exhibits, so maybe they will have an exhibit come closer to you soon!

But they had great family programs in that physical building (which used to be a Barney’s department store!) so I will miss that!
