I stopped to move this mantis? Stick insect? Off the path where people might step on them by accident- can you find the face in the leaves?

@corinnec Yes, I’m pretty sure he was just annoyed that I moved him and willing me to leave him alone!

@illinilass He probably could have managed on his own, but it was the second mantis-type insect I saw that day (both in the middle of the path!), and I don’t recall seeing them in the city very often!
