Pompeii

A victim of the Vesuvius explosion. The AZ Science Museum is currently hosting a Pompeii exhibit tour. This plaster cast figure tells a haunting tale. The picture came out this way with the light streaks.

Interesting exhibition and effect. The light streaks make the image somewhat ghostly which matches the subject matter.

When I went to visit Pompeii, I was 18, and I saw these figures, and it made an enormous impression. Seeing this, makes me shiver again, to be buried by ashes, fossilized victims, brrrr.
