On 21 June 2018, the monumental statue of Jesus the Blessed was unveiled in Dabas. The statue is about 10 metres high and is the work of sculptor István Szabó Jr. The statue was erected on the initiative of the Áldos Traditional Preservation Association. The statue stands at the highest point of the village, on the site of the former medieval church.
