Oh Brad, I could cry, you had fun and got such a cute shot at the same time! Truly, I'm overjoyed! Tell me you weren't at MiSq around 11 on Sat? We stood on the side walk & waited for a man to take pictures of the bottle brush tree. Later we passed him taking pictures and I commented to him how enjoyable it was to do photography in the park. That wasn't you, was it? Well, this is better than a basket of Easter Eggs *smile*... ...Happy Easter to you & your cute family!
Louise - glad you enjoyed that. My squirrel was captured in Newport Beach, but I may run into you at Mile Square Park one day. I think we're neighbors.
Thank you, Bruni. I captured the shot with natural light from underneath the tree with my iPhone. The shot was wider, so I cropped in, sharpened it up a bit and added some edge blur. Leveraging some cheap tricks to achieve my ends. I don't know Photoshop or Gimp yet. I'll learn new software in time, but it's mostly iPhone apps and iPhoto at this point.
LOL Lauren! I hadn't thought about that until you mentioned it. Too many jokes there.
