I like this angle the zebra looks a bit more gentler and nicer. The other angle looks very scary. I would be afraid to go to the library. I guess I would need to stay in the "younger children" section.
At this angle that zebra doesn't look like its being silent, quiet, or any of those other hush type adjective. :) I like the other one from Flickr too... maybe because from the different angle the zebra looks nicer. :) (to me...)
@hellcat - the zebra doesn't look silent to me either. In fact, it looks to me like it's shrieking in terror at being locked in some sort of solid somewhere out in space. The idea if silence had to do with his isolation and if anyone could hear him. I thought of titling it 'Airlock', or as an homage to the movie 'Alien', 'In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream". I love how alien and bizarre it looks when turned on its side.
LOVE the Alien reference! It's perfect! It does look like terror to me too. I just didn't want to ruin it for anyone. You may be on to something with the silence in isolation idea. And it's bodiless--- maybe it doesn't like to be mounted on a wall? Hunted? Oh the ideas could go on and on. In reference to my own pic... being a grown up sounded a lot more fun when we were kids and/or teens...right? :)
wow, love the wacky perspective of this...taking it out of context makes your head spin trying to figure out what it is that you are looking at. Cool shot!
Well, I like "Rebel Yell"...because I'm 40-something....and I do.
This guy is cool--does the "Older Children" section of the library include immature parents too? lol
funny and marvelous i am laughing :DDD
I love it !!
